Canon EOS 5D Mark II & III Now Capture 24fps RAW Video

Magic Lantern have successfully created a firmware add-on for Canon’s EOS 5D Mark II & III DSLRs which enables them to capture continuous 24 fps RAW video at resolutions up to 1,920 x 820 pixels using 1000x speed cards (1880×840 in full-frame mode for the 5D Mark II). This newly discovered ability for 5D Mark II & III cameras drastically improves dynamic range and resolution and provides added flexibility during post-production. Although not fully ready for release yet, the team at Magic Lantern is hard at work to implement the feature for Canon DSLRs and the initial build can already be downloaded at the Magic Lantern Forums for those who are brave enough to give it a try.
